Release notes for Modular Merchant version 4.120130.0913
  • 3rd-Party Integration
  • FedEx Integration
In the FedEx Integration module, located at [Modules > 3rd-Party Service Integration > FedEx Integration], added an option to set the FedEx module to either Production or Development environment. The Production environment is recommended, and it is selected by default. The Development environment accepts non-production account and meter numbers, and will create fake tracking numbers and shipping labels.
  • Administration Area
  • Search Customer Fields
The Search Customer Fields page has been updated with the new, preferred method for highlighting the table rows. Instead of a click anywhere on the entire table row toggling the checkbox and highlighting the row, now it only happens when the cell containing the checkbox itself is clicked.

Also, the "YES/NO" toggle buttons on the page will now update their values in real time; there's no need to submit the "Perform an action on the rows selected above..." option at the bottom of the page when toggling the "YES/NO" buttons.
  • Customer Group Editor
In the Customer Group Rules section of the Customer Group Editor, the text titled "Customers belonging to this group..." is now a link. The link will load the Search Customers page, displaying the customers that belong to that Customer Group.
  • Storefront
  • Alternate Storefront URL
Categories and Vendors that have a URL entered in the "Alternate Storefront URL" field in their respective editors will again redirect to the specified alternate page in all circumstances. Previously, their default storefront page would still be loaded instead.
  • Inactive Categories & Vendors
Admins that are logged in to the store's Administration Area will now be able to view inactive category and vendor pages in the storefront. When doing so, a system message will be displayed on-screen informing them as to why they are being allowed to view the inactive storefront page. If a customer attempts to view an inactive category or vendor page, they will be redirected to the storefront's home page.
