  •
  • Modules
  • Modular Mailer
If an SMTP error is encountered during the process of sending a queued email out through the Modular Mailer system, the text of the error message will now be recorded in a note, and the notes will be included in a column on the Email Archive report.

  • Storefront
  • Events Page
Added events.php to the storefront, which is a page that can be used to display all of the active, public events that are running in your store.
  • Featured Products Page
Added the featured_products.php page to the public storefront, which can be used to display a list of featured products. (The storefront.php page already has this same functionality, but a dedicated featured products page will allow the storefront.php page to optionally be used to display different content.)
  •
  • System Settings
  • Products Per Row
Added a new System Setting, #23 Products Per Row, which sets the default number of products displayed per row on category, featured product, search results, storefront and vendor pages. The default value for this System Setting is "1" (which is the way products were previously displayed in the storefront by default).
  •
  • Universal Template
  • MSRP and MSRP Savings
The Universal version of the product template has been updated to display the product's MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price) and the difference between the MSRP and the product's actual price. (The MSRP and savings will only be displayed if the product's MSRP value has been set, and the savings is greater than zero.)
  • Product Page
The Universal version of the storefront's product page has been updated. The product's long description, attributes (if any), reviews (if used) and Facebook comments (if used) will now be displayed in a tabbed box at the bottom of the page. Previously, these items were displayed all together, making it more difficult for customers to visually scan for the desired content.
  • Products Per Row
The Universal versions of the category, featured product, search results, storefront and vendor pages have been updated to be compatible with the new Products Per Row System Setting.
  • Universal Templates for New Pages
Added templates for the new featured_products and events storefront pages to the Universal template system.
