I can't find a page I was using a few days ago. I can't remember how I got to it, and I can't locate it in the Navigation Menu. Can I add a link to the page I want to my Navigation Menu?
Yes, the options and links in the Navigation Menu can be customized on an Admin-by-Admin basis. This means that if your store has two Admins that both work in the store's Administration Area, then each can make changes to their Navigation Menu without altering the other Admin's menu.
By default, a link to the Navigation Menu Editor screen can be found in the Navigation Menu itself, at [Home > Customize Navigation Menu].
The Navigation Menu Editor screen contains several options and will look something like this:
In the Navigation Menu Editor, unused menu options are in the left-column, and used ones are in the right-column.
Load a pre-made Navigation Menu Template
The option at the top, titled Load an existing Navigation Menu template, can be used to quickly set your Navigation Menu to an pre-made layout.
There are several pre-made Navigation Menu Templates. To use one of these, select it from the menu at the top of the page, and click the Load button. This will load into the Navigation Menu Editor and will set it as your admin account's Navigation Menu. If you want to keep that template's Navigation Menu layout as your own, then no further action is required. The menu change will take affect starting with the next page you view.

The menu of available Navigation Menu templates may contain many options, depending on how many admins your store has. If you're looking for a good starting place, there are several templates that we recommend using:
Basic
The Basic Navigation Menu template includes just the bare-bones minimum options that admins usually use when getting a new store up and running. If you don't want to be overwhelmed with options, or just don't care for clutter, then start with the Basic template.
Default
The Default Navigation Menu template includes links to every major section of the Administration Area. The Default template is an excellent choice for users who want quick access to every store component, or aren't easily intimidated.
Customize your Navigation Menu's content
Below the list of available templates are two columns, each containing a list of buttons and links that can be added to your Navigation Menu.
The column on the left, titled These menu items will NOT be used, contains all of the menu buttons and links that are currently excluded from your admin account's Navigation Menu. To add an item to your Navigation Menu, drag it from the left column to the desired location in the right column. Your Navigation Menu will be organized as indicated by the placement of the items in the right column.
The column on the right, titled These menu items WILL be used, contains all of the menu buttons and links that are currently included from your admin account's Navigation Menu. To remove an item from your Navigation Menu, drag it from the right column to anywhere in the left column. You place unused items anywhere in the left column. The left column will re-organize itself the next time the Editor page is viewed.
Changes to your Navigation Menu are saved with each change. There's no need to click a "submit" button when you're done making changes. Your changes will take affect automatically as of the next page you view.
how long do changes last?
Changes made to your Navigation Menu only affect the Admin account that you are logged in with at the time. If you log out and back in to the store's Administration Area, the customizations you've made to your Navigation Menu will remain in affect.
The change will remain in affect permanently (or until you make more changes in the Navigation Menu Editor).
