The Template Images page lists the images present in the selected Template Package. On this page, images can be added, edited or removed from the Template Package.
working with image files
The Template Images page lists only the image files located in the selected Template Package. It does not list other types of images used by the shopping cart software, such as product images. To manage those images, use the Search Store Graphics tool.
The Template Images page contains the following sections:
Search Template Images
Use this search tool to load the desired image directory in a selected Template Package. Any files with a .gif, .jpg, .jpeg or .png file extension that are found in the selected directory will be listed in the section of the page titled Template Images.
Template Images
This section lists every image file found in the selected directory. The information displayed for image file includes:
View Image
Click the icon in this column to view the image in a popup window.
File Name
The actual name of the image file on the server. For maximum compatibility, the image's file name should only contain letters, numbers and underscores. (No spaces or punctuation.)
File Path
This is the path to the file on the server. If referencing this image in any other template, web page or script, then this path to the file should be used.
Last Modified
This is the date that the file on the server was most recently modified.
Image Width & Height
The system will attempt to ascertain the images dimensions and list them here.
File Size
The size of the image file will be displayed here in Kilobytes. 1,024 Kilobytes = 1 Megabyte.
Checkmark Icon
To take action on one or more image files, select the checkbox in this column, then chose and action from the menu at the bottom of the page.
Perform an action on the rows selected above
Several actions can be applied to either all or a selection of images. These include copying the images to another directory, downloading them in a zip file, moving them to another directory, or deleting them.
