| The Record an Affiliate Commission page allows you to quickly locate an affiliate and credit them with a commission.
Adding an affiliate commission

On the Affiliate module's Home page, click the link for the Record an Affiliate Commission page.

Enter th SID of the affiliate or click the Search button and find the affiliate in which this commission will be awarded to.

Click Continue to the Commission Editor... button when affiliate SID is entered.

Choose the Tracking ID in which this commission will be associated with.

Choose a date in which the commission will be awarded to the affiliate. (Default is today's date).

Enter an Order ID the commission will be associated with.

Enter the amount of the commission.

Choose whether the affiliate will receive and email notifying them of the commission.

Click Save Changes when finished.
Editing an affiliate commission

On the Affiliate module's Home page, click the link for the Search Affiliate Commissions page.

Click either the SID number or the
 icon associated with the affiliate commission.

Make the intended changes to the affiliate commission.

Click Save Changes when finished.
Commission Editor Options
Commission SID (System ID)
The SID (System ID) is a unique number that identifies the commission to the system. This number is set by the software and cannot be changed.
Affiliate
The affiliate's first name, last name and SID number. Click on the affiliate's SID number to open the affiliate in the Customer Editor.
Tracking ID
This is the affiliate's Tracking ID (TID) number to which the commission will be applied. Every commission must be associated with a Tracking ID number.
Order ID
The Order ID to which the commission is applied. Commissions manually credited to an affiliate may either be associated with an order by entering an Order ID in this field (as in the case of a sales commission), or a "stand-alone" commission may be recorded by leaving this field blank (as in the case of an affiliate bonus or adjustment).
Commission Amount
The value of this commission. Commissions with a negative value are allowed.
Email Notification
If this option is set to "YES", then a notification email will be sent to the affiliate, informing them about the commission. |
