Release notes for Modular Merchant version 4.120214.0823 - 3rd-Party Integration
- FedEx Recipient Type
Added an option to the FedEx integration module to select the "FedEx Recipient Type". This option can be set to either "Residential" (which theoretically returns slightly higher shipping fees from FedEx) or "Commercial" (which theoretically returns slightly lower shipping fees from FedEx). - Administration Area
- Search Digital Objects
Deleting a digital object on the Search Digital Objects page will now also remove references to the digital object from several other related database tables. - Manage Modular Merchant Account
The Services (Account Name) is Subscribed To table in the Billing Information section of the Manage Modular Merchant Account page will now display the name of each product that the account is subscribed to. (Previously, the product name could be blank in certain configurations.) - "Get Orders" API
The API at /api/get_orders.php will now return the correct error message when accessed by ineligible accounts. (API access requires the GOLD account plan or higher.) Previously, the API would return an error message about a bad MySQL query instead of the correct message. - Traffic Statistics Report
The Traffic Statistics Report can now show bandwidth usage statistics for previous billing cycles. (Previously, only the current billing cycle's usage statistics were available.) Also updated the Bandwidth Usage charts on the page to use a new charting system we're evaluating. Individual dates can now be moused-over to display the value for that date. - Manage Modular Merchant Account
Added more tools to the Manage Modular Merchant Account page in the store's Administration Area; to allow clients to add, remove or change the services associated with their account. - "Edit Customer" API
Updated the "Edit Customer" API to bring it up to current functionality standards. The documentation for this API is available at: http://kb.modularmerchant.com/using-the-edit-customer-api-a674.php - Getting Started Checklist
Updated some of the verbiage on the Getting Started Checklist, located in the Admin section of the store's Administration Area. - Product Editor
Updated the interface for the "Assign Digital Objects to this Product" section of the Product Editor so that it will load faster for stores with a large number of digital objects. (The interface change can reduce the page's load time by up to half a minute for stores with 10,000 digital objects.) - Customer Groups
- Calculating Customer Group Members
Fixed an issue in which the software would incorrectly evaluate Customer Group rules using the criteria "match customers where Field X doesn't contain Value Y". The "doesn't contain" rule was not being evaluated correctly, resulting in more customers being put into the group than should have been. - Modules

If used, then a required checkbox and link to the Terms of Service will be added to the store's Affiliate Registration page.
