Release notes for Modular Merchant version 4.120405.1019
  • Administration Area
  • Event Editor
Fixed an issue that would prevent the "How to apply the Triggers below" menu from being set to the correct value when editing some types of events.
  • Search Customers
Fixes an issue where searching for a customer's ship last name causes error message to be generated and no results to be displayed.
  • Customer Editor
Trying to edit an inactive customer account will no longer display an error message on the Customer Editor page.
  • Shipping Method Editor
The Surcharge option will no longer be included in the Shipping Method Editor when creating a new, custom shipping method. (It is unnecessary for custom shipping methods.)
  • WYSIWYG HTML Editor
Added a "preview" button to multiple instances of the WYSIWYG HTML editor throughout Admin Area. The "preview" button will open a copy of the editor contents in a new browser window. This will help in reviewing how the content of the WYSIWYG editor will be rendered in a web browser.
  • Place an Order tool
  • Customer Fields and Attributes
Fixed an issue in which using the Place an Order Tool to place an order for an existing customer could cause any customer fields or attributes assigned to that customer to be erased.
  • Storefront
  • Credit Account vs. Credit Card
If a returning customer that has a credit account with a positive balance uses a credit card to place their order, their order will now be applied to the credit card instead of their credit account. (Previously, the customer's order would have been applied to their credit account, even if they opted to pay by credit card.)
  • Inactive Subcategories
If a category has inactive subcategories, they will no longer be displayed in the storefront.
  • Auto-Select Single Ship Method
Improved the list of available ship methods displayed in the storefront, so that if only one ship method is available, it will be pre-selected more often. (Previously, certain scenarios could prevent a single ship method from being pre-selected.)
