The Event Engine is the tool to create store discounts, promotions, sale prices, bonus products, product bundles, and much more.
The Search All Events page displays the Events that are currently present in the store. By default, the Events are displayed by their PO (Process Order) number. A different method of sorting can be selected by clicking the up and down arrows in the heading of each column.
Search Event Columns
System ID (SID)
The System ID (SID) is a unique number that identifies the Event to the system. This number is set by the software and cannot be changed.
P.O.
The Processing Order determines the the order that Events are processed by the store. This can be a big factor, since Events can be set to Stop processing additional Events or Ignore the Following Events once they are triggered.
Event Name
The name of the Event. The name can be optionally displayed to customers in the storefront.
Coupon Code
If there is a coupon code associated with the Event, it will be displayed in this column.
Public Desc.
If there is a Description associated with the Event, a note icon will be displayed. Click the note to view the description. The public description can be optionally displayed to customers in the storefront by including the appropriate QuickCode tags in the store's templates.
Start Date
Displays the date & time the Event starts.
End Date
Displays the date & time the Event starts. Once the date has passed, the Event will no longer be evaluated by the system.
Usage
Displays the number of times the Event has been triggered and utilized by customers.
Reusable
Displays whether the Event can be used more than once.
Retain Balance
Displays whether or not customers will retain the balance, if any, of any coupon code that is redeemed in the store.
Notes
Notes are hidden and displayed to store administrators only. Click on the number to view/edit a note or to add a new note.
Active
A green dot in this column indicates that the Event is active, while a red X indicates that the Event is inactive.
Clone
This tool makes an identical copy of the Event.
Edit
Click on the SID number or icon to go to the Event Editor, where the Event can be edited.

Bulk Editing
Make Active
Multiple Events can be activated by selecting the checkboxes on the right, selecting Make Active from the dropdown menu and clicking Go.
Make Inactive
Multiple Events can be deactivated by selecting the checkboxes on the first right, selecting Make Inactive from the dropdown menu, and clicking Go.
Clone
Multiple Events can be cloned simultaneously. To clone multiple Events, select the desired Events on the far right, select clone in the dropdown below the table, and click Go.
Delete
If an Event is no longer needed, it can be deleted. To delete an Event, select it on the far right, select delete in the dropdown below the table, and click Go.
