The Search Customers page displays all customers that you have created, allowing you to view the important options of all the customers at a glance. This page also gives you the ability to make bulk changes to the customers.
By default, the customers are displayed in order of SID (System ID). You can select a different method of sorting by clicking the up and down arrows in the heading of each column.
Search Customers Columns
SID (System ID)
The SID (System ID) is a unique number that identifies the customer to the system. This number is set by the software and cannot be changed.
First Name
This will display the first name of this customer.
Last Name
This will display the last name of this customer .
Billing Address 1
This will display line 1 of the billing street address of this customer .
Billing Address 2
This will display line 2 of the billing street address of this customer .
Billing Address
This will display the combined address for this customer. (Billing Address 1 and Billing Address 2).
Billing City
This will display the billing city for this customer.
Billing State
This will display the billing state for this customer .
Billing Zip
This will display the billing zip code for this customer .
Billing Country
This will display the billing country for this customer.
Email
This will display the email address for this customer. The email address must be unique from one customer to another.
Area Code
This will display the area code for this customer.
Phone
This will display the phone number (without area code) for this customer.
Area Code + Phone Number
This will display the combined phone number for this customer. (Area Code and Phone).
# of Orders
This will display the number of orders in which this customer has placed in the store. Click the number to view all of the orders associated with this customer.
# of Autoresponders
This will display the number of Autoresponders associated with this customer. Click the number to view all of the emails in the queue for this customer.
# of Customer Groups
This will display the number of Customer Groups in which this customer is associated with. Click the number to view all of the Customer Groups in which this customer is associated with.
# of Shipping Addresses
This will display the number of different shipping addresses that are associated with this customer.
# of Product Reviews
This will display the number of Product Reviews in which have been written by this customer. Click the link to view all of the customer reviews written by this customer.
Total Spent
This will display the total amount this customer has spent across all of the orders placed.
Scheduled Order
This will display the details, if any, for any scheduled order that is associated with this customer. If no scheduled orders are associated with this customer a "N/A" will be displayed.
Last Order Placed
This will display the date of the last order that was placed for or by this customer.
Date Created
This will display the date in which this customer created their account or it was created for them.
Edit Date
This will display the date in which the customer record was last edited.
Last Login
This will display the date in which the customer last logged into their account, if ever. If the customer has never logged into their account a "never" will be displayed.
Has Net Terms
This will display whether the customer has a Customer Credit Account.
Term (Days)
This will display the term (in days) for this customer's Credit Account.
Credit Total
This will display the total amount of Customer Credit this customer has to use.
Credit Spent
This will display the amount of credit that has been spent during the term.
Credit Remaining
This will display the amount of customer credit remaining for this customer.
Tax Exempt
This will display whether this customer is tax exempt or not. If the customer is tax exempt, they will not be charged for taxes on their orders.
Email Opt-in
This will display whether the customer has chosen to Opt-in to receive emails from your store. If the customer is not "Opt-in" for emails, they will not receive any emails sent via the Modular Mailer Module.
Is An Affiliate?
This will display whether this customer is also an affiliate.
Affiliate Company Name
This will display the company name for the affiliate, if applicable.
Affiliate Website
Click the icon to view the affiliate's website in a new tab or browser window. The icon will only be displayed if the customer is an affiliate and a website was entered in their account.
Affiliate Fax Number
This will display the fax number for the affiliate, if applicable.
Affiliate Payable to
This will display whom the affiliate commissions are payable to, an Individual or the Company, if applicable.
Affiliate Tax Class
This will display what tax class in which the affiliate applies; Individual, Corporation, Non-Profit Organization.
Affiliate Tax ID
This will display the affiliate's tax ID, if applicable.
Customer Attributes and Fields
This will display all of the customer attributes and fields, if any have been created via the Customer Attribute or Field Editors.
Contact Info
Click the icon to display a compiled version of the customer's contact information in a popup window.
Customer Login
Click the icon to log into the customer's account area via the storefront as the customer.
Place Order
Click the icon to place an order for this customer. This will take you to the "Place an Order" tool in the administration area.
Notes
Used to enter information or notes about this customer . Multiple notes can be entered for a single customer, which are stored historically by both date and administrator who wrote the entry.
Active
An active customer will be signified by a green dot in this column, while a red X indicates that the customer account is inactive. Customers that are inactive will not be able to log into the storefront. Click to toggle the status.
Clone
This tool makes a complete copy of the "parent" customer; this can be useful for creating new customer based off of a the parent customer.
Edit this Customer
If you click on the SID number or icon for a customer, you will be taken to the Customer Editor, where you can edit all of the options of this customer.

The checkboxes in this column work with the dropdown box below the table, giving you the option of making changes to one or more customers at once.
Bulk Editing
Make Active
It is possible to assign an active status to one or more customers by clicking each of the customers via their checkboxes and choosing Make Active from the dropdown menu and clicking Go. Each of the selected customers will be given an active status.
Make Inactive
It is possible to assign an inactive status to one or more customers by clicking each of the customers via their checkboxes and choosing Make Inactive from the dropdown menu and clicking Go. Each of the selected customers will be given an inactive status and will no longer be available as a customer for a product or group of products.
Clone
It is possible to clone multiple customers at the same time. By clicking each of the custom customers via their checkboxes, and choosing Clone from the dropdown menu at the bottom of the page. Each of the selected customers will be cloned and will be displayed in the search page in accordance to the sorting options currently specified.
Delete
If you no longer need a customer, you may choose to delete the customer. To do this, place a check mark in the last column of the customer's row, select delete in the dropdown below the table, and click Go. You may delete multiple customers at once by selecting multiple check boxes before clicking Go.
