This tool is used for changing specified text in all of your store's Digital Object URLs at once. This is useful if Digital Objects are moved to a different website, or a password protected directory is added, etc.
Search & Replace Digital Product URLs Fields
Change the text in all Digital Objects URLs
In this field, enter the text that you would like to change. The system will change all instances of this text in your store's Digital Object URLs.
To the following text:
In this field, enter the new text that will replace the old.
example Suppose the Digital Objects were hosted in the directory at the following location:
http://www.My OldWebsite.com/uploads/
The URL of one of the Digital Objects may be something like this:
http://www.MyOldWebsite.com/uploads/myfile.zip
But now, all of the files have been moved to a new website:
http://www.MyNewWebsite.com/uploads/
The URL of that previous Digital Object should now be:
http://www.MyNewWebsite.com/uploads/myfile.zip
In the Change the text in all Digital Objects URLs section, input:
MyOldWebsite
In the To the following text section, input:
MyNewWebsite
Click the Search & Replace button to change all instances of MyOldWebsite to MyNewWebsite in any of the Digital Objects that have that text in their URLs.
