Zone fees are used to apply additional shipping fees to an order based on the shipping address location. The zone fee amount is added into the order's shipping fees, and is also affected by any events that affect the order's shipping fees. The Zone Fee Editor is used to create and edit zone fees.
To add a new Zone Fee rule:

Go to Shipping > Add a Zone Fee.

Name the Zone Fee in the section titled "Zone Fee Group Name". Required.

Select whether the zone fee is Active or Inactive.

Enter a value for the zone fee. This value can be either a percentage of the order or a specific amount added to the order during the checkout process.

Choose the zone fee locations in which will trigger the zone fee The available zones are: Zip codes, States/Provinces and Countries.

Click Save Changes when finished.
To edit an existing Zone Fee rule:

Go to Shipping > Search Zone Fees.

Click either the SID number or the
 link associated with the zone fee.

Edit the zone fee.

Click Save Changes when finished.
Zone Fee Editor Columns
SID (System ID)
The SID (System ID) is a unique number that identifies the zone fee to the system. This number is set by the software and cannot be changed.
Zone Fee Name
This is the name that is displayed on the invoice for the zone fee charge. Required.
Active
Active zone fees will be applied to any order that meets the zone fee's criteria. Inactive zone fees are not evaluated by the storefront or applied to orders.
Value
This value can be either a percentage of the order or a specific amount added to the order during the checkout process.
Zone Fee Triggers
Sets whether the zone fee will be triggered if all zones are met or any of the zones are met during the checkout process.
Zones Definitions
Zip Code
Input one or more zip codes, separated by commas.
States/Provinces
To select a state or province, click on it's name. To select multiple states or provinces, hold down the Ctrl key.
Countries
To select a country, click on it's name. To select multiple countries, hold down the Ctrl key.
Notes
Internal notes can be added. They are only viewable by store administrators.
