Compatible Payment Gateways

compatible payment gateways
Which payment gateways is the Modular Merchant shopping cart software compatible with?

Modular Merchant is compatible with several standard payment gateways and off-site payment gateways.

The official list of supported payment gateways is:
  • Authorize.net (Get a 2.09% rate through Modular Merchant and e-online data.)
  • BluePay
  • CenPOS (Authorize.net emulator)
  • First Data
  • Link Point (now First Data)
  • Manual / Offline processing
  • Network Merchants (Authorize.net emulator)
  • Optimal Payments
  • PayFlow Pro
  • PayPal Website Payments Pro
  • PayPal Website Payments Standard (Off-Site Gateway)
  • Pivotal Payments
  • SecurePay
  • USA ePay (BETA release)
  • Virtual Merchant
New payment gateways are added from time to time, so check back often if a payment gateway you'd like to use isn't on this list.

adding payment gateways
I'm using a payment gateway that's not on the list. Can support for it be added to the shopping cart software?

The answer to that is: maybe. We review requested payment gateway on a case-by-case basis. Support for additional payment gateways is added when possible, but some gateways have requirements that make them incompatible.

If you would like to request support for a payment gateway that is not listed above, send us your request in a Support Ticket. To expedite our review of the payment gateway, and increase the odds that support for it can be added, we recommend including the following information with your request (In the list below, Authorize.net is used as an example):
  • A link to the payment gateway's website.
    Example: http://www.Authorize.net

  • A link to the integration documentation on the payment gateway's website.
    Example: http://developer.authorize.net/integration/

  • A link to (or login credentials for) a test account for the gateway that can be used during development.
    Example: https://developer.authorize.net/testaccount/

  • A point of contact at the payment gateway that can assist with any technical questions that may arise during the development process.
Example: Dudley Heromin, Integration Manager, dudley@email.com, (800) 555-1234 extension 123
The better the quality of the information provided in the request, the better the chances that support for the payment gateway can be added to the shopping cart software.
