The Modular Merchant shopping cart software has two sections: a private Administration Area and a public storefront.
The Administration Area is a password-protected website which only a store's Admin Accounts have access to. It can also be referred to as a "back-office" portal, a "control panel", or an administrative "dash board".
The Administration Area contains all the settings for the store, products, categories, modules, reports, etc. It is also where sales, customers, shipments, etc. are managed.
Customers never see the Administration Area; they only see the storefront.
The Administration Area includes a customizable navigation menu for quick and easy access to settings and reports.
