Dropshipping is the practice of selling goods that are stocked and shipped directly from the manufacturer or wholesaler. With this method, products travel from the manufacturer or wholesaler to the customer, without ever passing through the retail store.
The wholesaler may ship the merchandise with a shipping label and packing slip that are customized with the retailer's company information, so that the shipment appears to come from the retailer rather than the wholesaler.
