The Checkout Area is the section of the storefront where an order is finalized and submitted. It's where the transaction takes place.

In the Checkout Area, the customer selects their shipping method, they insert their payment information, their funds are authorized and they submit their transaction. The customer may also redeem Coupon Codes and Reward Points via the Checkout Area.
